Catching up on a rare Saturday off; we had to take a break given team injuries and illness. Mixed week with Tues 57-42 loss to a good SHP team and last night 68-40 win vs scrappy ECP. Need to get healthy as we enter the home stretch! @MenloKnights @MenloBoysBball

Ended up 2-2 at the St Francis (La Canada) Holiday Tourney after winning our final game 52-49 vs El Camino Real. Grew as a team and showed grit & determination in navigating a brutal 4-game stretch! Congrats Tate Cohen for being named All-Tourney. @MenloKnights @MenloBoysBball

Got off to a 27-12 halftime lead, but we conceded a 32-10 (!!) 3rd qtr to a red hot Santa Teresa team. Final score Santa Teresa 58 Menlo 50. 4th place finish at Los Gatos Tournament. Back to work. Tough week ahead!

Mental aspects of coaching can be rough. All coaches know this. Brutal 10pm loss followed by self-doubt 6am film study… But this stopped me cold just now and reminded me to have perspective. So many positives last night, and it’s only game 2! PERSPECTIVE!!
