On this 82nd anniversary of D-Day: "An estimated 45,418 American veterans of World War II are still alive. Out of the 16.4 million Americans who served in the conflict, less than 0.5% are still living, with their average median age now approaching 98 years old." - WW2 Museum
@OperHealAmerica "The boastful shall not stand in Your sight; You hate all workers of iniquity." - Psalm 5:5. That's the Law of God, which condemns all sinners.
"Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners." - 1 Tim 1:15. That's the Gospel.

I cringe whenever I hear, "Happy Memorial Day." If you consider the meaning of the day, there's nothing happy about it. I'm sure those who say it are thinking of the 3 day weekend and the fun that goes with it. May we never forget that people died so we could celebrate this way.
