We don’t like change. We don’t want to have to stretch. But God loves you too much to let you stay in the desert. He’s not going to let you stay at one level. He’ll close doors because a new door is about to open.
As the WEEK begins, May you rest on the assurance that your outward appearance does not match the inside since you are receiving a renewal through Christ Jesus.

When God says He came to freely bring us into a relationship with Himself as a gift of His grace—to walk with us, to talk with us, to live abundantly within us—do you really believe that’s true for you? Paul said in Philippians 3:10, 12, “I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of His resurrection…I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.”
We wonder when it’s going to change, “When is God going to do something?” In fact, God is doing something. He’s keeping us from harm. He’s holding back the opposition; He’s not letting the addiction defeat us. One day, we’ll look back and say, “Look what the Lord has done. Look at how God sustained me.”
