Very excited that Werwolf is up for preorder at @LegionWargames. Who would have thought that two history teachers @Clint_Davey1 could make a game about alternate history! Admittedly I'm biased, but it really is worth a look!

@Dozibugger I've been working on this shed load of 15mm British kit for Tunisia-Sicily-Italy. Goingn to use it for O Group and Battlegroup, and IABSM if I can convince some mates to give it a go.
Well, Cancon Lard Zone is a wrap. Running my O Group 'Last Train to Krupki' game was great fun. In both games the Soviets kept the pressure up, but were unable to bypass the German blocking position. Thanks to MJ, Tim, Martin, Jeremy, and everyone else wo played. #spreadthelard
First run of my O Group game at Cancon, set during Bagration in June '44. The Soviets fought hard to capture Krupki, but in a bitter engagement the Germans managed to slip away under cover of darkness. Running again tomorrow, we shall see how my voice holds out! #spreadthelard
Epic game of Chain of Command 2 at Cancon put on @PainterTactical today. Fall of Königsberg in early '45. My Volksgrenadiers fought courageously, but went down in the end to aggressive Soviet SMG troops. #spreadthelard
@tomjmegan#FestiveTankChallenge25 I've been chipping away at the 15mm Emchas and have made more progress - this time with chipping. The entire company of 10 has been chipped, and now tomorrow's goal is to get cracking on the wheels, tracks, and stowage. #spreadthelard
@tomjmegan#FestiveTankChallenge25 And it begins. A company of M4A2 Emchas for my 1944 soviets. All 3d prints in 15mm. I'd stowed and printed them previously, and have just airbrushed their base colours. Tomorrow, decals. #spreadthelard
NEW REPORT: History should be taught to all children up to the age of 16. The call has been endorsed by the distinguished historians Niall Ferguson @nfergus , Lord (Andrew) Roberts @aroberts_andrew and Dominic Sandbrook ('The Rest is History') @dcsandbrook .
At present, most children (55%) stop learning history at 14. That is why our exclusive new poll reveals such little knowledge of history among young adults. Three quarters say they don't know about Admiral Nelson. More than half say they don't know about Oliver Cromwell, a vital figure in the development of our democracy.
Britain is an outlier among OECD countries in not teaching history up to the age of 16. This should be changed so we give a rounded education to the citizens and voters of the future. Press release and report below.

@BigLee It is indeed all about the metal. A friend who is just getting into historical gaming from GW, said that he really liked how heavy the historical figures were.
