Perhaps the thing that many have lost over the last several years is to Seek to Understand. Having this mindset for things is much better than the incorrect assumption we formulate in our minds then strongly voice opinions on things we know very little to nothing about.

Spousal support and buy-in is so important when working with a buyer. If there is another person critical to the decision you must get buy-in before going to contract. If you don’t, it’ll never close. I slipped up and have had two different ones cancel recently.

Why would a real estate agent berate a homeowner on a call, text, or email because the agent called the owner and the owner told them not to call again? You get what you give in this business over the long run. Attacking a homeowner gets you an exit in 1-3 yrs. Be better.
Getting really easy to see the agents that are getting sold at listing appointments. When you’re carrying 29 and only 3 are pending with your DOM pushing 230. 🙄. Easy to get overpriced listings.
My agent - “we need to get the Buyers Agreement signed before I show you anything”
Client - “you’re the only agent to ask me to sign anything and I’ve had 4 other agents show me properties”

Love this! Agent “A” lists a property on a street. Agent “B” sees the listing and calls every other owner on the street and builds the relationship with those owners giving them the current info first. Don’t wait. Everything that happens gives u reason 2 calls to build biz.
Still baffling to me after 30+ years in real estate that agents still believe they can do a good business without calling. Actually speaking to people! They’re Still being sold a myth by “coaching companies” guess as long as there is a buyer there will be someone selling it
Half your day could be spent right now deleting emails from companies/people trying to sell Realtors their “magic potion”. The things that worked before work now…if you do them right and enough. Be better
