A source close to the #cafc board told me regarding the extended lease "So would I (want full ownership of the Valley and Sparrows Lane), and we’ll always work towards that - a step on the journey. No change in terms BTW".

A last thought on today’s anniversary of Athelstan’s coronation 1100 years ago on 4 sept 925. That day he promised that he would rule society high and low with justice and mercy. He was not above the law. The birth perhaps of the idea of the community of the realm?
