@RichySouthern Totally agree. Mad that the club haven’t looked at the brand since the takeover. People focus on the crest, but that’s just one element. The whole visual language needs defining so it feels contemporary and unmistakably NUFC. Everton, Liverpool and Villa have all done it well.
@RichySouthern It would be shit regardless, but those massive blue stripes really do make it awful. The shoulders look like the old Tesco carrier bags.
@EurostarUK Hi - I recently booked return tix from London to Paris, but although the money has come out of my account, i have not had any confirmation email from you, so cannot retrieve booking. Please can you fix this.
@MsiDouglas Great article as ever, Mark. Good news about CEO, but bizarre that we're still seemingly so far off appointing a new SD - is the guy from Forest no longer a goer then?
@harrydecosemo@ForbesSports What are the "broken promises" in your view, Harry? Cos the club has been briefing all year that they want to make him the best paid player in its history, so can't really be that. And can't believe they would say he could leave for an under valuation offer. So what could it be?
@CraigHope_DM The club have been briefing for months now that they would offer him a new contract this summer making him the highest paid player ever, so feels a mad thing to be this worked up about it when they've been saying they'll sort it.
@GreyEyeMagpie @MsiDouglas Yeah, seems most plausible thing. But the club have clearly said since that they want to give him a decent new contract, so it doesnt seem enough to be going on like this.
@Im_RobM It is mad that they haven't just done this if they want him so much. Or even just tried their hand at £135-140m. They haven't actually given us a decision to make yet, even when we've been clearly briefing our price for several weeks now.
@Im_RobM Guessing this stance has been coordinated with Liverpool and designed to soften our stance ahead of another bid below our valuation. Reckon they bid again this week.
@MelissaReddy_ Hi Melissa, have Liverpool made an offer meeting Newcastle's valuation yet for a player with three years remaining? All the rest seems a bit redundant if not.
