So I made a livesplit analysis tool that runs entirely in a modern browser, it'll give you stats, history of attempts/pbs/etc, and of course some pretty graphs: https://t.co/5QysAJ3Vyk
Who would have thought, after all these years, that there was a time save hidden in plain sight with Gapsule? Deferring the 1st, 3rd and 5th swings saves over half a second over the existing strat. It's RTA-viable with just knowing when to not be on the button.

@rainbowmon2018@Baby69Joey Slope glitch (possible in S1,S2 & S3K) - obtained by the platform unloading whilst Sonic is standing on it (caused by the screen panned up, and tails walking off of it to send it down) tricks the game into allowing you to keep your angle on terrain, and thus walk into the floor.
New Sonic 2 sauce in 2023!
Slope Glitch can be performed at the start of Metropolis Act 3 with a setup that involves Sonic triggering a screenwrap while standing on an object. The glitch allows Sonic to bounce on the boss. One second faster for Sonic. 8 seconds faster for Knux.
