Being perfectly honest I always found a lot of pushback on Looker, most companies had Tableu or PowerBI and never really a compelling reason to move.

Looker now with conversational analytics is worth reconsidering that position.

We are now doing SRE.

This is great news, both Anthropic models are also now GA.

Vertex AI is great for the flexibility in testing out a new model from Antrhopic and comparing it to Gemini, or an open source model such as Llama.

I have seen people trying to use MCP to connect Agents to Agents.

MCP is for agents to use tools.

TL;DR of this is, Flash-Lite is the cheapest and fastest, use it unless you need something better, then work from left to right till you get 2.5 Pro.
