I’m officially launching my campaign for Congress in Florida’s 9th District.
I’m running because Florida needs leaders who understand the real impact government has on us all.
I’m ready to get to work. Let’s do this together.
FL's new CD9 is ready for @GovDeSantis sig. I’m seriously considering a run to represent it.
I'm grateful for the leadership of @GovRonDeSantis and @POTUS as we continue moving Florida forward.
I’ll be listening and learning across the district in the weeks ahead.
🎉👏 GAMECHANGING MOMENT FOR EVERGLADES RESTORATION! 🎉👏
✂️Today will be remembered as one of the most important days in the history of Everglades restoration as we cut the ribbon on the Caloosahatchee (C-43) Reservoir Project! Thank you @GovRonDeSantis, @Sen_Albritton, @FLDEPNews Secretary Alexis Lambert, @SFWMD Governing Board Members, @SFWMD Director Drew Bartlett & many local, state, federal & tribal officials for joining today’s celebration.
LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO! 🐍
Last night I joined a python hunt in the Florida Everglades!
Got hands-on with Florida’s invasive species problem. Learned how to wrangle those slithery giants like a pro, joined a heart-pounding hunt under the swamp’s moonlight, & saw up close how these pythons disrupt the
ecosystem.
Who’s ready to join the hunt?
While the Florida budget passed last night looks to secure our food supply chain and to support the millions of Americans here at home and across the country who’ve dedicated their lives to agriculture, it is an absolute honor to be with thousands of students, advisors, alumni, parents, and partners, all gathered in the Free State of Florida tonight to celebrate something that truly matters: the future of American agriculture. FFA is about growing people. It’s about developing leaders who are grounded in purpose, driven by values, and willing to serve something greater than themselves. That’s exactly the kind of leadership our state and our nation need right now.
☀️💦 Our region is experiencing very dry conditions. District-wide rainfall is down 50 percent for the dry season.
It is important that we take steps to conserve water and protect our precious water resources.
@SFWMD staff uses state-of-the-art tools to monitor weather conditions around the clock. You can access many of the same tools used by our meteorologists including real-time radar, historic weather data, and more.

Bittersweet day for @floridaffa. Thank you to the decades of staff, ag teachers, students & industry partners that made the LTC into what we will remember it as. I expect @FLStateParks to be a great steward to the legacy this facility represents https://t.co/ocqoq9zkN6
Happy Farm City Week! As a dairy farmer and rancher, I am thankful for the entire supply chain, all the way to the end consumer. Your partnerships provide my family with a rewarding way of life
I want to thank Shawn Hamilton for his service to our state. I will miss his leadership in Everglades restoration. He has been a strong partner for a strong environment. Look forward to working with Sec. Lambert and keeping our foot on the gas as we continue to make progress.
Without regard to your political scars or stripes, your preferences in any of today’s election contests, or the level of your election analysis fatigue, I hope you emerge feeling GRATEFUL, OPTIMISTIC, and SATISFIED. May it be so.
🌀 Storm Prep 🌀
Florida’s water management districts are preparing their river & canal systems to receive excess runoff from #Helene. Their webpages include links for real-time tracking of water levels.

Happy National Dairy Month!
Did you know FL-18’s Okeechobee County produces more dairy than anywhere else in Florida, over 120 million gallons a year!? 🐄
