@Lane_Kiffin@JuiceKiffin@LSUfootball Removing a dog from its actual home for a PR move is a new low for you. Your lows get harder and harder to beat but you manage to do it. Give the dog back. Don’t disrupt an animals life to try and make yours look better.
Let’s go! No one better @CoachGolding! Excited for the next few weeks and for the future of @OleMissFB. Players and staff ready to go win a natty! #CFP
@Lane_Kiffin Stop playing victim. You created this situation with a university that had given you everything you wanted. Same Lane Kiffin. You haven’t grown at all.
Something about telling the media that “you have a lot of praying to do before making a decision” and then immediately threatening the livelihoods of your staff around 36 hours does not sit right with me. Intrinsically evil.
Kiffin supposedly has given offensive coaches an ultimatum: come with me today or there won’t be a spot for you. The injury he’s inflicting on @OleMissFB has gone from selfishly incidental to intentional.
The danger is this: he’s delayed his decision so long that putting together another staff is going to be much more difficult than it needed to be. If assistants leave today, could it increase the chances of player defections pre-playoffs? Maybe. I’ve been less worried about that with Kiffin, himself, but some of these young guys will be loyal to their position coaches.
He’s going to play victim along the way and his PR firm (ESPN) will help, but this guy is every bit the petulant brat he was 20 years ago. And no, this is not @KeithCarterOM’s fault. Kiffin feels so damn entitled that he thought he could quit, sign on with our conference rival and then continuing dictating the operation of @OleMissFB for the next month plus.
The guy, fully knowing he was leaving, was tweeting about Ole Miss in the SEC Championship yesterday through his dog. He cares about one thing. Himself. It’s time to rally around the team and the university.
If Ole Miss wins Friday, this entire argument is absurd and the people pushing it should be embarrassed. It makes no rational sense. An 11-1 Ole Miss that won in Norman isn't falling behind a 10-2 Oklahoma. It would be a travesty. Full stop.
