HR & Marketing Consultant with Meridian Agriculture. Also honoured to be involved with the Livestock Consulting Internship & Advancing Beef Leaders programs.
I like this one:
"There is no need to fear any problem you are working on. If you are working on it, then you are influencing the outcome.
It's the problems you don't address that should concern you."

Had a ripper few days across the Brisbane/Darling Downs region on the supply chain tour with the participants in the Advancing Beef Leaders program. Thanks to the wonderful businesses that hosted us.
I can’t believe I completely missed the brilliance of The West Wing… until now! I can’t stop watching. I love it. Thanks to @KeelyKov for waking me up!
Fantastic graduation lunch for the current participants in the Advancing Beef Leaders program. It’s been a joy working with these people over the last year. @DAFQld #leadership#Beef2024
I found a guy who goes around the US asking 70 to 100-year-olds their:
• Biggest Regrets
• Biggest Lessons
• Advice to their younger self
Oddly enough, most of their answers are the same…
Here are my top 8:
I had surgery on my wrist yesterday and the surgeon used texta to inform everyone which arm (the plaster and written notes weren’t enough apparently).
It reminds me that most policies & procedures come about because someone once did the wrong thing.
A fantastic few days across southern QLD with the Livestock Consulting Internship crew. We learned that momentum is more important than power when it comes to throwing axes (and work actually); and had great sessions with some speakers and feedlot tours. @meatlivestock
I just saw this: The television series "Mozart in the Jungle"
"You say 'amateur' as if it was a dirty word. 'Amateur' comes from the Latin word 'amare', which means to love. To do things for the love of it."
How do we 'be professional', while remaining an 'amateur'?
Had a great few days with the good people of southern QLD on our producer tour last. We are certainly observing an advancing of leadership skills of these beef industry representatives. #advancingbeefleaders#ABL
R U OK?
The Meridian team intentionally asks each other, ‘R U OK?’ starting a meaningful conversation that could change a life.
Whenever you spot the signs that someone you know might be struggling, it’s OK to ask RU OK?
