I’ve lived in multiple places on the east coast of Australia and played golf for over 20 years.
Ranging from
Tropical to regions with severe frost and snow in winter. From coastal to inland.
They all core the greens at different times of year depending on the local climate.
The spring coring can range from August to October and the autumn coring, march or April.

Not hard for the course to notify each player as bookings are made.
