JUST IN: U.S. Space Command has blocked the release of records detailing operations at a military space-surveillance hub in Auckland, New Zealand, as new reporting reveals the broader network has supported combat operations involving Iran.
According to Radio New Zealand, the Auckland facility coordinates satellite tracking across the Pacific as one of three global hubs in the Pentagon’s Joint Commercial Operations network.

More proof, as if any were needed, that Zelensky is a totally loathsome character. The U.S. government has stated that Starshield, the Pentagon's system, is not available to Ukraine. I assume that statement is true, but even if it isn’t, the whole purpose of such a denial would be to prevent World War III. Yet Zelensky casually announces that he is using Starshield anyway, actively courting World War III. Just breathtaking recklessness. The sooner he is gone, the better for everyone.

If U.S. Starlink satellites are being used by Ukraine to target Russia, a nuclear-armed power without authorization, then the deterrent you posit isn't exactly a qualifying deterrent is it?
Thus, the bigger problem that Musk is trying to stop.
From an operational perspective, Russia would have a very valid claim that U.S. assets (a nuclear power) were being used to target Russia (another nuclear power). This is not a good scenario.
Zelenskyy is putting the USA in a very difficult position. Musk is essentially trying to mitigate the potential threat from Zelenskyy's self-centered and short-sighted behavior.

This is indeed one of the main reasons that Starlink must remain a civilian operation.
It can be used for infrastructure that is military, but it cannot be used for unequivocally offensive strikes that make it fair game to be struck back.
An adversary blowing up Starlink satellites would create a domino effect of destruction that would generate a vast field of debris making space unusable.
I don't think you realize how lucky we are to have an Elon Musk at this level, actually fighting this thing.
Because let's be clear about the sides.
On one side, the people. The vast majority. Common sense, hard work, family, and one simple wish: to live in peace.
On the other, an illegitimate elite. Mostly globalist, which at its core is a communist project: managing humanity from the top, like a system. And since that project doesn't work (it has never worked anywhere), they survive in only one way: lies.
To hold on, this elite built systems of coercion and corruption. Ukraine is one of them. They've also captured and corrupted a huge share of the institutions that were supposed to protect us.
Take Bill Gates. On this line for years. It's no accident he ended up at the heart of Covid policy. Just ask yourself: why is a software billionaire talking directly to Fauci before the vaccine rollout even starts, as if he were part of the operation?
These people see humanity as a herd to be administered. But they're terrible at economics. They don't understand their model can't work. So instead of saying "we were wrong, let's change," they lie. They double down. And that's exactly what makes them dangerous.
Honestly, this system was almost impossible to break.
And then, by the most improbable of chances, there's one man. The richest man in the world. Who chose the side of the people against these illegitimate, mostly left-wing elites. And who's throwing all his power into this fight.
The system is dying. And he's the one pushing.
Think for two seconds. If Elon wanted to enslave humanity, he could have done it long ago. All he had to do was make a deal with the globalists. He'd have everything he wants, right now.

Today, this is how the world is split.
On one side, the people who are waking up. The ones who've unplugged from legacy media and get their information elsewhere, directly, unfiltered. They've figured it out, and they're lining up behind Elon Musk. Alongside him, a large part of the right-leaning tech elite. Many of them still stay in the shadows, out of a lack of courage, let's be honest. But at least they're not toxic. They build.
On the other side, the legacy system. The political class, the media, academia, the courts, the whole institutional machine that lives off managing the masses and manufacturing consensus. A globalist system that, to push its project forward, leans on two levers: the far left and political Islam. Two forces with nothing in common except the one thing that matters: they fracture nations. And fractured peoples don't defend themselves.
Meanwhile, Musk and those around him are laying the foundations of a different world order. One built on private property, free speech, individual liberty and the freedom to build. Not an order imposed from above, but one that emerges through execution.
That's the real fight of our time. Not left vs right. Those who want to keep control vs those who want to give freedom back.
And the most interesting part is the momentum. The further we go, the more the system cracks. It can no longer hold the narrative. Just look at the collapse of trust in the media: 61% of French people now distrust them, up 7 points since 2023. People no longer believe what they're being told.
The monopoly on the narrative is over. And those who lost it won't get it back.
