The NFL owners just voted unanimously to approve the Jacksonville Jaguars and City of Jacksonville $1.4 billion stadium renovation. 32 to 0. @ActionSportsJax@ActionNewsJax
TRAGIC UPDATE: Family members told me Alaysha died.
We just met some students who came together to pay their respects. They wrote down “Forever 25” in honor of her jersey number and messages.
A close friend told me Alaysha would always make your day better.

17-year-old student Alaysha Williams is fighting for her life in the hospital after being hit by a car. Police said the driver took off and they’re looking for the suspect.
Family told me Williams is captain of the Ed White HS girls basketball team and plays flag football.
@ActionNewsJax UPDATE: Shop owner, Ed Malin, and a few friends left earlier this morning. He just told me they had a few flat tires on the highway, so they’re still about 2 hours away from the Asheville area.
They have SEVEN trailers full of relief supplies! #HurricaneHelene@ActionNewsJax
The owner of Angie’s Subs in Jacksonville Beach is driving up to North Carolina to help those in need after #HurricaneHelene.
He’s collecting donations and pulling a trailer with four other people tomorrow morning, bringing bottled water, diapers, baby-formula and toilet paper.
@ActionNewsJax STORY: We met a local mother who said her daughter is a nurse in North Carolina, sleeping at a hospital. She donated to Angie’s Subs to do her part from afar until she can physically get there to help out.
It takes a village and the community stepped up.
@ActionNewsJax
Major shoutout to Angie’s Subs in Jacksonville Beach for doing this.
North Carolina is hurting. Especially my people in WNC. The devastation is unbelievable.
Thank you so much for doing this. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
