@LN45524 @F1Tami Well it’s easier for him to close the gap on other cars, when he’s in a faster car. Oscar wouldn’t have been driving flat out before that point, however when Lando gets to P2, Oscar would have pushed harder. It would be difficult for Lando to close the gap against an equal car.

1 - Russell later owned up to his involvement in that crash and later accepted that his behaviour was unacceptable.
2 - it wasn’t pre-meditated and intentional like Max.

You can’t compare that crash to Max’s actions today.

It’s her job to ask those questions, not kiss his arse. He can’t expect to go round intentionally driving into others and not be asked questions about it. He’s not above accountability.
