Curschmann's spirals
Curschmann's spirals are observed in Cytology sputum or bronchio-alveolar lavage smears of asthmatics consisting of spiral-shaped mucus plugs from subepithelial mucous bronchi ducts glands. They are also called air way casts.

Curschmann's spirals could be seen in cervical smears though a rare occurrence which may be formed from endocervical mucus.

@PozoXevi I call this pattern 'Bubble gum' and its characteristics of endometrial adenocarcinoma. Biopsy will be needed to confirm though.

Estrogen is the stimulator of cell growth and development in the female uterus. In normal cycle, it is balanced by progesterone which reverses its action. In the case of uncontrollable growth leading to malignancy as seen here, unchecked estrogen continues to run riot.

Candida albicans can also be identified as small, oval, budding yeast cells
Commonly observed in acute or chronic infections and in immunocompromised individuals.
Actinomyces cotton ball and mucormycosis are its mimicks which could be diagnostic pitfalls.

Candida albicans is a fungus associated with various conditions in Cytology. It is otherwise called monilia. It is also called Sheesh Kebabs when it is seen as flower-like adherent on squamous cells and often distinguished by

presence of pseudohyphae, an elongated branching filament,or mycelium known as fruity structure. The pseudo hyphae is inclined at 45 degrees angularity which is critical its diagnosis as against mucormycosis.
