First night in Boston.
Waitress: “excuse me sir, you seem to have forgotten your tip”
Me: “Here’s my tip - join a union & withdraw your labour until your employer agrees to pay a fair wage”
The whole restaurant stood and applauded - even the manager

This is the Ireland we're living in now, where a man can smash the bones of a female passer by, knocking her out cold with an elbow to the face, then swan out of court on bail, and not a word out of the @NWCI or the mainstream media.
I'm always amused when an Irish Government suggests somebody will "face the full rigors of the law".
This is a country with one of the most lenient sentencing regimes in the western world. Literal paedophiles don't do jail time.
You watch this carry on in Russia, Ukraine, and the Middle East, as you pile your bottles into baskets so you can queue up at the little machine to get 15cents back to fund Ireland's solo efforts to save the global climate.
At times you can only laugh in Ireland. Temporarily cutting excise duty on fuel is to be swiftly followed by a permanent increase in carbon tax, yet if you followed the news you’d be lead to believe this govt is working to address the rising cost of living. They simply aren’t.
RIP Michael Lyster ❤️
Loved this 2018 RTÉ Tribute to him on his final day hosting The Sunday Game.
He fronted the panel so well for 35 years.
