Life in the country is amazing. One moment you’re walking the pasture with your kids, first cool day of the year and it’s like a hallmark movie, the next moment your two year old yeets herself into a prickly pear and suddenly it’s like the beach scene from saving private ryan.
“I would like for the government that confiscates a quarter of my earnings to stop issuing millions of scam visas to people who displace American workers”
“Haha wow what an unAmerican attitude, big believer in DEI huh? You and Ibram Kendi are just peas in a pod!”
@braxton_mccoy They belong in (and/or around the fringes of) metropolitan areas. They should not be put anywhere else. This could be done, but they want the land on the cheap, which is silly, because the development/construction cost of data centers is insane anyway.
I don't know why some have taken reality as an affront to their egos but it needs to stop. You overcome hardships, awesome. Congratulations and Godspeed. None of that means the kids are not legitimately struggling.
Shutup and eat your ramen while your earnings are confiscated and given to a tax exempt “non profit” with a CEO that’s paid $1.5 million a year to give free shit to people who hate you.
@Manhattva Lived in Utah in 2013-14 and thought dang this place is more conservative and culturally protective than even Oklahoma. I’ve been watching from afar since and being pretty sad about how things are developing over there.
@GhostOPRockwell I’m just a dumb okie with no ties to the Mormons that lived in Utah for a year and learned a lot of the cool history and this annoys the shit outa me too.
