Have you seen the photos from The Amateur Championship at Royal Cinque Ports and wondered about the set up of the course? ⛳️
👀 Look no further!
Thanks to @BenWilliamsTurf and his team, we have it covered in this handy tournament factsheet.

At the fabulous Royal Cinque Ports today dialling in all the mowers to target any unwanted grass species in the fine surfaces. Set the 5010H’s with the now standard low cut bed knives, the 3420’s back to the standard micro cuts and the 3550’s with the tournament 18inch blades
We're hiring a Senior Greenkeeper. It's a great time to join the team ahead of a busy summer including The Halford Hewitt, The Amateur Championship, Final Qualifying and the inaugural Hagen 54. Full details are below.
Hole Notes: Issue 3 - The 16th at Royal Cinque Ports
Originally the 7th on Deal’s virgin 9-hole layout, the 16th has shifted between a par 4, bogey 5, and now a par 5, offering rare respite on the infamous back nine. A rediscovered wartime photograph led Martin Ebert to restore its split fairway in 2018, while a pillbox on the right remains a nod to the Club’s military past.

This week Assistant Greenkeeper, Morgan Brown, is volunteering at Sunningdale for The Curtis Cup.
What a brilliant experience and opportunity at such a prestigious event and venue.
Have a great week from all at the Club.
What an amazing 3 days @RCPgolfclub helping @BenWilliamsTurf and his team for Final Open Qualifying. A golf course in unbelievable condition and an absolute pleasure to be given the opportunity to volunteer. Until next time. 👏🏻⛳️👌🏻
“Have fun” reads the final point on The Halford Hewitt players’ card.
We hope the players are doing just that.

"The Hagen Hoof"
@jamiecweir has been raving about this event so we sent him to check it out this year.
Three clubs, three courses, all played in a single day to celebrate Walter Hagen's visit to the 1920 Open Championship.
