We are sadden with the news of the passing of our dear colleague John Goodenough. He changed the world with his significant contributions to Lithium Ion batteries and other inventions. He was also a supportive colleague and dedicated husband, who took care of his wife with love.
John Goodenough was a critical part of our community and it is with great sadness to hear of his passing. He was a dedicated public servant, a sought-after mentor and a brilliant, yet humble, inventor. I am thankful for all he did for @UTAustin, our students and the world.
