In Britain, we're supposed to think Jeremy Corbyn meeting with the elected leaders of our closest neighbour is bad, whereas Johnson smiling along with a man who has turned Yemen into one of the worst humanitarian disasters on the planet is very normal.
I am sick of hearing rich white politicians/former politicians agreeing with rich white journalists that Labour is back on track after the terrible Corbyn era. What they mean is their privilege is now not at risk and the poor can be kept in their place. We need radical change.
School dinner portions could be cut because Government funding isn't keeping up with higher food prices.
This won't be happening at Eton. It shouldn't happen to children in state schools either.
We should guarantee free and decent school meals for every single child.
Boris Johnson poured billions into the private sector during Covid, broke his own rules and now claims he is sorry.
The reality is that he was caught out — this dishonest servant of the super rich should do one more thing. Resign.
This is your daily reminder that Germany 🇩🇪 which has 20 million more citizens than the UK spent less than 1 (one) Billion pounds on their Track and Trace system. And didn’t run out of money.
The Tories spent 37 Billion pounds and ran out of money.

Britain’s two biggest energy companies are making profits of £4.5 million per hour.
1 person in the UK dies every hour due to living in a cold home.
Forgive me for harping on about it but that makes me sick. Rampant profiteering at the expense of society.
Airstrikes in Yemen last night killed more than 60 people dead and caused a nationwide internet blackout.
The UK government is complicit in these crimes through arming and training the Saudi-led war on Yemen.

• UK hourly minimum wage in 2020: £8.72
But....
• Highest UK pay packet in 1998: £0.63m
• Highest UK pay packet in in 2021: £421m
We need a wealth tax & a real living wage.
My message to Sajid Javid today : Remember you are now the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care - not the minister for selling off our NHS or gifting contracts to your mates in banking and finance.
My least favourite by-product of capitalism is that people (especially in the UK) think that if you’re poor you don’t deserve literally anything. Like if you work a low wage job or are on benefits you’ll be shamed for owning a phone or ordering a takeaway and this makes NO sense
At today’s Justice For Palestine demonstration in London, I also called for a halt to arms sales. UK-made weapons are killing civilians - including children - in conflicts abroad. This must stop.
