@AMK_Mapping_ What I respect the most is looking at facts (not narratives), reasons for the conflict, different parties motivations and importantly being open to changing your opinion on things. This is what a critical mind is supposed to be like and this how I am teaching my children to think
@FloBro__ I bet the Europeans have encouraged Zelensky to behave tough - “the whole world is with you” nonsense. After a while people start believing their own BS.
@IAPonomarenko I know this is all funny for you. But Ukraine has been destroyed and thrown back decades. The demographic catastrophe is something the country will never recover from. It’s a day to be mourned, not fun to be made because some anonymous guy made wild predictions
@Tendar They are frozen - not confiscated. You don’t need any sort of legal treatment to understand the difference. There is a legal concept called sovereign immunity - read up on this
@Tatarigami_UA You just don’t get it. Trump wants what is best for USA and not what is best for Ukraine. Therefore he acts that way. Having a good relationship with Russia is many more times beneficial to the US. Just think logically and not emotionally on this. Used to be called realpolitik
@dvassallo If you focus on money then you need to work in the finance industry or start your own business. If you love tech then you work for tech companies. I am in finance and have a tonne of people around me with comp well into 7 figures with happy families and happy wives
@TallbarFIN As a non Russian but who knows and understands Russia and Russians well, I can say that Russians tend to prioritise the welfare of the nation above the welfare of an individual (or of themselves). You can debate what the country needs the most, but that’s how they think
@LynAldenContact A lot of great books and authors mentioned here, but one is missing - Peter F Hamilton. The Reality Dysfunction trilogy is an interesting mix of sci fi opera and horror. And his Fallen Dragon duology is also very good.
