Project Showcase: Storyvale Sewer Extension ROW Clearing and McFarlin Development Clearing in Nolensville, TN. Two different phases of work that were awarded to us by a great customer of ours.
The ROW clearing alone was almost four miles long, and crossing eighteen property lines. The entire project was closed out in full in around three and a half weeks. Awesome work by our teams at Warren Land Solutions and Warren Logistics.
Here is some simple advice I gave to a young man recently who wants to start a business that I think needs to be brought to some people’s attention on here. Six key facts that will maybe give some poeole clarity that are on the fence of taking the leap:
1. If your advisor/coach/mentor hasn’t done it, then they aren’t one
2. Business plans are way overrated, especially if you have no business. Get some revenue, and then make one
3. No question is dumb; ask the outrageous questions. You’ll be surprised that no one thinks you’re crazy
4. If you haven’t had a sleepless night, you’re not being aggressive enough
5. The quickest teachers are failures. Fail fast and adapt
6. Do the right thing, even when no one is looking
I hope this can help someone that is on the same journey as myself.
@_InfiniteZeal Genesis 12:3 in the context of God’s covenant with Abraham. “And I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”
Frank Turek: “Charlie Kirk is in heaven right now not because he was a great husband and father, not because he saved millions of kids out of darkness on college campuses, not because he changed minds and chased votes to save the country, not because he sacrificed himself for His Savior. Charlie Kirk is in heaven because His Savior sacrificed himself for Charlie Kirk.”
Writing a note to myself ten years ago:
1. Life is not about arriving, it’s about surviving. You only learn this until you have gotten your clock cleaned years at a time. You are not alone, and it happens to everyone under different circumstances.
2. Do not speak if you haven’t been through it. Be the first one to speak if you have been through it.
3. Don’t be afraid to offend people (no matter who they are). Walk your conviction and pull the trigger on anything. (If) you have the understanding that God is in your corner, you don’t have to figure it out for him, you’re identity isn’t tied up in what you do, and it doesn’t go against Gods wisdom.
4. Have a backbone. Know what you stand for, why you stand for it, (and actually stand for it).
5. If all you know is your work, you have already failed. Don’t be a mile wide and an inch deep.
It’s no coincidence why most feel different about Charlie Kirk’s death and can’t explain it. I would say in my lifetime, there has never been a reaction to someone’s death at this magnitude.
Whether you believe in God or not, or liked Charlie or not, you are seeing good and evil battle in broad daylight.
This is a reminder that God is real, and Satan is real. Satan doesn’t want you to know this.
JUST IN: 22-year-old Utah resident Tyler Robinson has been taken into custody for the assassination of Charlie Kirk, according to the Daily Mail.
Robinson was reportedly turned in by his father.
“The killer then confessed to his father, who is a a 27-year veteran of the Washington County Sheriff's Department,” the Daily Mail reported.
“His father then contacted authorities and secured his son before he could be taken into custody.”
