I’ve dedicated this year to reading books, expanding my mind, and increasing my financial intelligence, not just in trading, but in business and life.

I just finished Chapter 21 of The Diary of a CEO and three lessons stood out, especially for traders:

1️⃣ The moment you decide you’ve “made it,” you stop growing.
In trading, the second you feel you’ve mastered the market, you stop reviewing, refining, and improving. Success is not a destination, it’s a moving target.

2️⃣ Failure is feedback.
Feedback is knowledge.
Knowledge is power.
So failure is power.
Every losing trade carries data. The only traders who truly lose are the ones who refuse to extract the lesson.

3️⃣ If you want higher success, increase your failure rate.
More attempts. More execution. More calculated risk.
You don’t become consistent by avoiding losses, you become consistent by learning faster than others.

This week, don’t fear the losses.
Study them.
Extract from them.
Compound the lessons.

That’s how real growth happens.

I’ve never really said this out loud before.
But late 2024 humbled me in a way nobody saw.
On the outside, I was still “SABIIGAL.”
But on the inside? Not to talk about.

That season taught me something quietly painful:

You can be skilled and still lose if your mind isn’t settled. You can know your strategy and still sabotage yourself if your heart is heavy.

If you’re going through something right now, relationship tension, family stress, school pressure, financial urgency, don’t force yourself to trade just because you feel behind.

Nobody tells you that part.

They’ll tell you to master risk management.
They’ll tell you to journal.
They’ll tell you to backtest.

You don’t prove strength by trading through pain.

Fix up and come back.

The market will still be there next week.
Next month.
Next year.

But your peace? That one you must protect!
