----- General Antonio López de Santa Anna to Sam Houston, after being captured after the Battle of San Jacinto, which was fought 188 years ago today. Sam Houston responded, "What claim have you to mercy, when you showed none at the Alamo or at Goliad?" They talked for nearly two hours, using Moses Austin Bryan, Lorenzo de Zavala and Juan Almonte as interpreters. In the end Santa Anna agreed to write an order commanding all Mexican troops to evacuate Texas. Later, treaties were signed at Velasco, looking to the adjustment of all differences and the recognition of Texas independence.

Sonic was never good. “Going fast” is not a good premise for a mostly horizontal platformer when your screen resolution is 4:3 and you don’t slam your character model as far to the edge as possible.

Sonic could be good on a 16:9 or ultra wide screen.
