Except we are still in an interglacial age. 40 years ago “the science” would have said we are headed back into the depths of an ice age. 1,000 years ago they were growing wine grapes in England. They probably would have argued that we were out of the glacial time scale back then too over a nice glass of Gloucester red.
But keep peddling your propaganda climate grifter.
The original poster is proposing that we might want to check her history prior to her sabbatical from the work after her 3rd baby was born to see if there is anything amiss while she was working. Whereas your reply insinuates that she was over stressed at the time of the murders in part from work but by that time she had not been working for at least 8 months. This isn’t difficult.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understandings.” “His ways are not our ways”
God is awesome enough to give you explicit individual attention and still have time for everyone else brother. He is not limited by time.
“Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And not one of them is forgotten before God.
Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.”
Just gonna ignore my point huh?
The original languages don’t treat prayer to God and ordinary requests as the same thing. They use different words.
Hebrew palal means to intervene or mediate before authority. Greek proseuchomai means to turn toward God and address Him—and the New Testament uses it only of prayer to God.
Those terms are not interchangeable with a general “pray tell.” When Scripture specifically means prayer to God, it uses palal or proseuchomai. Ordinary requests from one person to another use words like sha’al, aiteo, and deomai. Prayer to God is linguistically marked as distinct.
@brew56200@sola_chad You fail to consider that the English definition of prayer had multiple meanings whereas in the old and New Testaments in the original languages they had distinct meanings for addressing God and not a simple humble asking generally.
@sola_chad The Catholics defending the practice will say it is because Christians are alive in heaven and therefore can intercede. But No one ever prayed to Elijah or Enoch, or the Angels for intercession in the Bible either.
Let’s not question why it’s cheaper in California to import lumber from Canada instead of increasing logging before our forests burn down from being over grown and over populated. Or why it’s cheaper to import cement from SE Asia. Probably nothing that can be done at the state level to decrease housing costs.
@HorribleTyrone@Johnlesley53@Ozgelogg@usludurkizim You’re assuming rules that are t explicitly stated. 10 is an acceptable answer but so is 14 and I’m sure there are other potential solutions that fit the first two that could be applied to the 3rd.
@conservativeoh1@beinlibertarian Same. But to say all politicians are the same or that the Republicans are the same a Democrats is an intellectually lazy statement and just false. It is true that there are too many socialist lite republicans, there is still a constitutional conservative base and platform.
