ADB hosted the 2025 High-Level Meeting with @AFD_en Group on 30 September at @ADB_HQ.

ADB and AFD reaffirmed a $6 billion cofinancing target for 2026–2028 and explored wider collaboration to advance resilient, sustainable development across Asia and the Pacific.

TODAY -- @ADB_hq, @AFD_en, and @KfW_int signed an MOU to cofinance the Marine Ecosystems for Blue Economy Development Program (Subprogram 1), in the Philippines. ADB will provide a loan of $500M, while AFD and KfW will each contribute €200M.

France is one of ADB’s biggest bilateral cofinancing partners, with a $1B commitment in project cofinancing in 2024. 🇫🇷

Since becoming a member in 1970, France has committed $1.5B to special funds, mostly for the Asian Development Fund. Know more about the ADB-France partnership.
