The Polygamist on Netflix is not a show about a man with many women. It’s a show about what happens to women when they organise their entire lives around one undeserving man.
this morning, my bus (shuttlers) left me. not even because I was late. the ETA was 7:24, I left my house by 6:50 so I could get to the bus on time. by 7:06, the driver calls (I'm still on my way), telling me he has arrived and will leave by 7:07
1. Loyalty : Without this, everything else collapses. No amount of money or looks can fix betrayal.
2. Personality : This is what you live with daily. If it’s bad, the relationship will feel like punishment.
3. Love : Important, but love alone doesn’t sustain anything without the right character.
4. Sexual compatibility : It matters more than people like to admit, mismatch here causes long term frustration.
5. Fear of God : This can shape values, discipline, and how someone treats you, depending on how genuine it is.
6. Money : Comfort matters, but it shouldn’t outrank character.
7. Looks : Attraction is important, but it fades or becomes normal over time.
8. 🍆 size : Let’s be honest, this is more hype than substance. Technique, connection, and compatibility matter way more.
I want money for the comfort it brings, for the respect it commands, the problems it solves, for the ease one enjoys from having it. God bless me with money 🙏🏾
i hope there comes a time when i can trust someone’s words fully without having to feel scared or stupid for believing them. i just genuinely wanna be able show up as my REAL SELF without having any doubts.
What loses me about people like this is how do you not lose immediate attraction once it’s known someone has a significant other? Like not one hormone in my body will flick for you knowing this.
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but it’s time for you to GET UP! Ask God to breathe His Spirit back into you. You’ve been lying dormant far too long. Ask Him to restore your creativity, purpose, joy, love, health, and sound mind. You’ve slept long enough in depression, anxiety, overthinking, bitterness, loneliness, grief, brokenness, financial stress, abandonment wounds, relationship trauma, and destructive habits. GET UP! Get up for your future self, your kids, and the dreams God placed inside you. Get up and take your life back. 🤍
I highly recommend the book of Psalms. There’s a prayer for every type of situation you can think of. Thanksgiving, repentance, heartbreak, trials/difficulty, doubt, fear/anxiety, etc. Psalm is a great resource to read on a daily basis. Start from the beginning & let God lead you
