@_dr_bea@AcademicChatter Itโs ok to have notes, outline, highlights to remind you. The biggest aspect that gets forgotten is that the more you talk the less depth they understand. Make it a discussion. Ask their opinions. Make them think. Make them engage with the content. Learning is transactional.
Great editorial by Susan Wainwright! As educators, we emphasize modeling certain behaviors for our students, such as professionalism. How often do we think to model self-care to our students? #Learning#education#physicaltherapy#physicaltherapystudent https://t.co/eTLjAqcNK3
This @APTAtweets grass roots effort is a win for our patients. Now, letโs push Congress to pass the SMART act in early โ22 and limit bad Medicare policies that will crush access to quality care in rural areas! #healthcare#physicaltherapy#ruralhealthcare https://t.co/RlfK6TVzX1
@utahjazz Wouldnโt know. Stuck with @dish and canโt watch the games. But at least Iโm paying $80/month to not be able to watch what I signed up for. #DishNetworkSucks
Ok folks. How do we get @MasenWake13 his own action figure. Dudes just a beast with or without the ball! @BYUfootball@byuequipment can you help us out with this?
Most professions have recourse for this behavior. All licensed professions have recourse for this behavior. How is #highereducation immune to any due process for lying and manipulation by researchers?
Realistic question for academia. If a PhD intentionally pushed poor methodology, lies and manipulates data to achieve an outcome in research, what recourse is there against their credentials? @higheredutah@insidehighered@chronicle
@danielmwoodruff@DixieState@KUTV2News Itโs a sad time when a university sends out research that meets no scientific standard, lies about the methods used, manipulates the data from that study to push their agenda, then works to silence any opposition, is allowed to get this far.
@APTAptac Thank you! Love my #PTfam. Working with the caucus, @APTAUtah, and @APTAtweets has been a highlight of my career! More to come. #EffortMatters
@Doctorwhodances Sad to hear responses like those you mention. 20 years in, still learning everyday. Advanced degrees/certifications made me a better clinician/educator, but moreso a better person. Our business is about people, and we must be prepared to serve every one regardless of dx.
Honored to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from @APTAUtah! A highlight of my career has been working to better our profession. Thank you for this!
