Interns doctors have been arrested simply for demanding facilitation to perform their duties of saving lives. Is this really the Uganda we want? Release our young people—the future and pillars of this country.📌

Who loses when medical interns stay home? The answer goes beyond doctors and government, it ultimately reaches the patient.
I unpack this in my latest opinion 👉https://t.co/OLWsNM7dEA

The Leader of Opposition, Hon. @JoelSsenyonyi has been consistent on the welfare of medical interns. He is back on the floor over the same matter. #PlenaryUg
This government is not even ashamed of arresting doctors demanding for what belongs to them, at this point, even those who were to report will not report.
No one can report Wen their colleagues are in prison.
We want justice for these young professionals

Is this the uganda we want ?? @GovUganda@ankorenewslink@Parliament_Ug Release our youth , the pillars of uganda
We been in ward today since morning doing rounds. Truth is we are just medical students not licensed as replacements for the missing medical interns,... if the ministry of health wants us to continue covering for the medical interns, then they should be arranging for our allowances too, because this is more than just learning, the work bulk is something else.

@RubabindaJr@CHRISBARYOMUNS1@TheUMAofficial@FUMI_org@OfficialFUMSA A country's healthcare is everything that matters and yet you want to send hungry and enslaved interns to the hospitals. We are not allowing a full year of exploitation and slavery . If you want a corruption free country, start by paying interns .
Pay us,or no work , period.
