I went to the ATM around 8pm because I needed cash for transport the next morning.
While I was waiting, I noticed a man standing across the road. Nothing unusual at first, but every time I looked up, he was watching me.
I finished my withdrawal and walked toward a nearby shop instead of heading straight home.
A few minutes later, I saw him walking in the same direction.
I got nervous and entered the shop, pretending to buy something.
The funny part?
The man came in too, looked at me and said, “Oga, you dropped your ATM card.”
I nearly embarrassed myself that night.

Growing up, I learnt Something From My Parents:
If you did something to somebody and they came to complain to my parents, don’t expect them to flog or beat us immediately.
In fact, some of our neighbours would even say, Don’t go and report them to their mummy. Wait until their daddy comes back. Eventually when he returns, they will still be disappointed.
Because little did they understand how my parents used to correct us.
Someone would come angrily and say, See what your child did! See what she did to me!
My mum would just say, Ahh, sorry o. I didn’t know she would do that.
That’s all.
The person would leave thinking, this woman will deal with her child when I leave.
Meanwhile, my mum would not take that route in correcting us.
So, growing up, I think I learnt something from my parents without even realizing it.
Now that I have my own children, if someone comes to me and says, See what your child did and expects I immediately beat my child, I won’t.
I’m not saying children should not be corrected. Of course they should.
I will listen. I will find out what happened. And I will decide how to correct my child.
Correction doesn’t always have to mean beating a child immediately just because somebody came to complain.
Sometimes, you listen first. You understand what happened. Then you handle it your own way.
@AdebusolaFaruq Going from Agege to building something around investing is a story on its own. The 30k impressions part is wild though, that’s serious reach.
Happy birthday bro
A man walked into my neighbour’s shop around 7pm and asked for a bottle of water.
He looked normal, so nobody paid much attention to him.
But the shop owner noticed something strange. He kept looking at the entrance instead of the products on the shelves.
She quietly asked him what he wanted again.
He mentioned a few items, then asked if she was alone in the shop.
That question made her uncomfortable.
She told him her brother was in the back room.
The man immediately said he would come back later and walked out.
A few minutes later, she saw two men waiting across the road.
That was when she understood why he had asked.
If you do not have a dollar account in Nigeria in 2026, please consider getting one.
Whether you are a freelancer, someone who sends or receives dollars from friends and family abroad, who shops on international sites, or who just wants to protect their money from naira devaluation, a dollar account is necessary.
-Here are the best apps to open a dollar account from your phone, without leaving your house:
1. Grey (grey. co): the most recommended option for Nigerians in 2026. Gives you USD, GBP, and EUR accounts. Comes with a Visa virtual card, built-in invoicing, and naira withdrawals.
2. Geegpay by Raenest (raenest. com): best for Nigerians on Upwork. Gives you a real US bank routing number and ACH-compatible account which Upwork requires for payouts. Naira withdrawals are free.
3. Cleva (getcleva. com): zero fees in 2026. A clean, simple platform for receiving dollar payments. Great for beginners who want to start without complexity.
4. Chipper Cash (chippercash. com): best if you already use the app for local transfers and just need to add a dollar card. The virtual dollar card works on Netflix, Spotify, Apple, and most international platforms.
5. Payday (usepayday. com): holds up to 6 currencies including USD and NGN. Good for sending money and making international payments. Note that you cannot receive international bank transfers directly into your Payday USD account.
Go to Google Play Store or the App Store, download the app of your choice, sign up with your email, upload a valid ID and a selfie, and your account is ready in minutes. No stress with the registration.
A dollar account protects your earnings, opens you up to international opportunities, and gives you a card that works anywhere in the world.

Above all, love God.
#650 to pack 30k in 5 days.
I saw this thrift advert in one WA group I am in.
I haven't done thrift(Ajo) before. It looked too good to be true.
Trust me now. The finance doctor😂
I became curious and decided to join.
Just as I wanted to ask how person go contribute 650 daily and pack 30k in 5 days. I wanted to ask the magic and how they gain?
Then I saw a message dropped by admin.
She dropped list of 8 out of 10 persons that already indicated interest. 2 persons to go
I calmed down with my message and decided to calculate.
10 persons contribute #650 daily. That's 6500.
In 5 days, that's 32,500.
One person gets 30k. She gains 2500 every 5 days.
Once you collect, it's after another 50 days you will see another 30k oo
No proper questions. No proper explanation.
Then I sat, instead of losing #50 every 5 days, make I continue with my daily automated savings here.
Na after 5 days some people new to Ajo no see their 30k admin go hear nwiiiim😂
@JessyRichard250 That 30k in 5 days headline would definitely catch someone’s attention 😂. The moment I saw 10 people × ₦650, the math started looking very different.
Happy birthday to me 🎉
A year older, and honestly, a year sharper. This year I went from just talking about NGX investing to actually building something, teaching people how to read a company's numbers, spot real value, and think long term instead of chasing quick wins.
Hit 500 followers not too long ago, watched a post nearly reach 30k impressions, and I'm still just getting started.
Grateful for everyone who reads my threads, engages, argues with me in the comments, and shows up daily. This journey from Agege to wherever this ends up is one I don't take for granted.
Here's to another year of learning, teaching, investing wisely, and building wealth the patient way.
Cheers to growth 🥂
When it comes with peace, then it’s truly yours.
Some things may look perfect on the outside, but if they constantly rob you of your peace, pay attention.
Once I make a move on my woman for s£x and she says no, that’s it. I’ll just arrange my joystick properly, face the wall and sleep. I don’t know how to beg for s£x; I can’t do it because it’s too embarrassing.
My neighbor knocked on my door at 9:06 a.m. and asked me a question that made absolutely no sense.
“Did you tell anyone about the money?”
I laughed.
“What money?”
She looked behind me before answering.
“The money your husband thinks you don’t know about.”
I stopped smiling.
My husband was at work.
And I’d never told anyone about the account I’d found.
I asked her what she meant.
She wouldn’t come inside.
Instead, she handed me a small envelope.
My name was written on it.
Inside was a photograph of my husband sitting in a restaurant with another woman.
On the table between them was a stack of cash.
I asked when the picture was taken.
She said,
“Yesterday.
I called my husband.
He answered normally.
I asked where he was.
“At work.”
I asked if he’d been at a restaurant yesterday.
Silence.
Then he said,
“Who told you?”
That was the moment I knew the photograph wasn’t the real problem.
He already knew someone had seen him.
Ana de Armas… once you see that serious face in a movie, just know she’s no longer joking and things have gotten serious. 😂
That laughing frame shows how happy she is in that scene, but honestly, she can switch that laughter into anything she wants. I just love watching her. She knows exactly how to bring her characters to life and perform every role so well. And yes, you can never catch her looking unfresh.
