@joeton_engineer @kinesisergo I was directed to a /checkout/order-received url that errored out. I can see the charge on my credit card statement, and just refreshed the /checkout/order-received tab and can see a confirmation page. Just checked and got an email 3 minutes ago.
Watching https://t.co/8k9nqqUw6m and @garybernhardt's clicky keyboard is making me want to whip out my Das keyboard with Cherry MX blues but I am too used to the spit layout on my Kinesis Advantage2 with Cherry MX brownsπ€·ββοΈ
Must resist the urge to buy a new keyboard π¬
The following quote in Mistborn's prologue stuck out to me because it is applicable to startups as well. In both writing and running a business, executing well is a big component but so is luck. Sometimes you can do all the right things and still fail.
I am well aware that much of a writer's success or failure depends on things completely outside his or her control. Word of mouth, fortuitous shelf placement in bookstores, striking at the right moment with something that resonates in just the right way.
Made https://t.co/74e0uI4JL8 to practice Elixir/Phoenix after not using it for a while and to try out LiveView! It was fun to learn how to test LiveView and to play around with Mox for mocking API calls.
Next up is to play around with Golang.

@johnduff I have read all the Expanse books and really like them! I am currently reading through the Wheel of Time series. Lots of characters and a big world. It might be my favorite series I have ever read, and I am only on book 4 of 14.
