Again, many people who call themselves Eagles fans donโt appreciate the man that Jalen Hurts is. Weโre fortunate to have him as the franchise QB. I hope he retires an Eagle.
DeVonta Smith on what heโll miss about A.J. Brown:
โJust the relationship we had, the brotherhood, and things like that. โฉYou know, some things, you just, you look back and, you know, we had a good time here. We had a great time here, the things that we did, things we accomplished on the field, off the field. You know, you always share those moments.โ
@MikeSielski Itโs a sad ending but the guy wanted to go, what else can we do/say. He put out the best, sustained most awesome wr production as an eagle during my lifetime and it was magnificent and Iโll remember it that way
@MikeSielski No one is actually eager for it to end. Most, including me, still didnโt truly want it to happen all the way till it did today. Real sadness in the aftermath. But to deny ajb was at the very least disinterested last yr at times on the field and distraction off is disingenuous
I feel bad for Jared Verse. He gets traded from a perennial contender to the worst-run organization in the NFL, which has control over him for 3 years before franchise tags even come into play.
If he refused to sign an extension with Cleveland down the road, they could tag him twice, meaning Verse would have to stay healthy and highly productive until he was 30 years old to have a chance to escape from Cleveland.
There are layers and levels to the NFL.
One team in the NFC West is trading for Myles Garrett.
Another is having a public contract dispute with Jacoby Brissett.
They really tried to call Hurts difficult to coach because he asked questions about the nuances of the scheme and the why behind it. They didnโt have answers but didnโt want to admit it
