It was time for a new profile picture! Here's my egg head for those of you who haven't seen it.
If you're a new follower, then hey! I'm Ben, and I love taking photos of landscapes, creating fine art prints and helping others improve their own photography.

'Kings of the Canopy'
An incredible tall myrtle beech (nothofagus cunninghammii) deep in the forests of north-eastern Tasmania. This was a challenging yet highly gratifying scene to capture - and yes, the sunstar is real!
NEW GALLERY RELEASE: ‘Symbiosis’
Image: ‘Contortionist’ (2022)
I’m excited to announce my latest gallery release, titled ‘Symbiosis’! The gallery explores the beautiful central and northeastern rainforests of Tasmania, captured during a trip there in May this year. Link in bio.
I've been spending a lot of time in the mountains lately so there hasn't been a lot of time for social media but here's an old one of the aurora from the Canadian north 🇨🇦
Tombstone range, Yukon, Canada
One of the things that I love about Death Valley is that beyond the name and first appearances of a harsh and desolate environment, there is beautify to be found all around you.
There’s beauty to appreciate everywhere you look. Even where you are at this very second. Go find it.
A recent print of my image 'To Meander'! Thrilled with how this turned out.
I put a lot of effort into my prints to make sure they come out perfect. If you're interested in one yourself, check out my site - https://t.co/QTLHYxcFMB - or shoot me a message.
Today's pick is a submission from the inaugural year's competition by Zsolt András Szabó. This black and white image has it all! We are coming up to the last few weeks of this year's competition, and entries close on August 31.
'The Hunt's Reward' (2019)
I recently cleaned this file up for a book project, and thought I'd share it since it's been a while! It's not every day you capture Aurora Australis, the milky way galactic core, zodiacal light and bioluminescence in one shot 🦄
Thanks for the overwhelming response to my last post everyone! Your comments and shares are much appreciated.
This is a small scene I captured on my way over to the sea stacks that same morning. The pre-dawn colours caught these sand textures beautifully.
'Rush Hour' (2022)
Managed to squeeze in a quick shoot at the ever-beautiful Kiama on Saturday. I can never tire of photographing places like this under a burning sky. It certainly felt good to get my feet and tripod wet again!
