@TimDOES Gamifying these streaks is a big mistake. @teslasi is actively discouraging people from disengaging when that is exactly the data they need to capture to make the thing better. Disengaging should be encouraged when necessary!
Back when I was on 14.2.2.5 the car tried to cross the double yellow to pass a stopped vehicle with a hill up ahead and no visibility beyond that - and it did so a bit timidly so I disengaged to step on it and complete the maneuver much faster. I haven't seen the problem again on the current version.
@Tesla_PNW Is it possible for the car to learn new navigation patterns without getting this update? I'm still on 2025.44 but noticed two different parking lots which had weird circuitous routing suddenly got fixed yesterday to take the smarter more direct route to the correct parking area.
@kenop@avrldotdev Claude cowork is a meaningful unlock in Claude desktop that cursor lacks, and Claude code can execute the same browser automation that Claude cowork can so there are fewer agent handoffs needed to both code and test and interact with web apps.
I’m pretty sure FSD already slows down when there’s a cop reported ahead, I have witnessed standard mode drop from 14 mph over the speed limit down to 6 mph over on the highway. At the moment it slowed down I didn’t know why it was doing so. Then I saw the cop 15-20 seconds later. It was not in view at the time we slowed down.
I must gripe now that I finally got the bump from 14.2.2.5 to 14.3.5 one month after taking delivery. The car hit a pothole on the first drive with the new version and gave me a flat tire. When will pothole avoidance ship? Also it used to back out of my driveway perfectly doing a single clockwise turn into our neighbors driveway to go down our pipestem but now it handles it way worse with a 5 point counterclockwise turn that has my neighbor looking at us very weird today.
@PatchesHQ I got the update to 14.3.5 last night. Was thrilled but then this morning FSD drove right over a pothole and gave me a flat tire. Pothole avoidance is listed as “coming soon” on the release notes. Not soon enough @teslasi !
@brown_gupta@paul_k_0907@aelluswamy@elonmusk Trying to win points as a generalization against the system when you’re on the old version kinda doesn’t work for anyone with half a brain.
@alexbenke@toddsaunders Except the AI understands that and incorporates its own “judgement” into the process in real time… so it often gets closer to the mark than if it were just doing exactly what it’s told.
Child safety in vehicles is a damned if you do, damned if you don’t choice. Car seats are generally designed to restrain the child so they can’t unbuckle themselves, and child safe door latches are an option on many cars because it can be just as dangerous if a child opens a car while the vehicle is in motion or gets out of a parked car and walks into traffic when the parents aren’t looking. But preventing them from getting out in burning car situations is also dangerous. Bottom line is it’s not so simple as “design your car so kids can get themselves out of the car if they need to”. That can backfire.
Structure > aesthetics is exactly it.
The number of beautiful landing pages we've audited that bury the CTA below three hero sections is wild. Best-performing pages we build follow one rule: every scroll should answer the visitor's next objection and give them a clear action.
Pretty doesn't convert. Clarity does.
Modular > monolithic every time.
Same philosophy we use building client apps — small, focused agents that each own one job. A routing agent decides who handles what. Easier to debug, easier to improve, and clients can actually understand what each piece does.
The "one agent to rule them all" approach breaks the moment edge cases show up.
Underrated problem. The agent infra conversation is all about orchestration and model routing — almost nobody is talking about the auth/secrets layer underneath.
We've been building scoped API tokens with auto-expiry for every agent workflow we ship. Not glamorous, but it's the difference between a demo and a production system.
