Writer and copyeditor. Sci-fi with a little horror for perspective. Too cryptic for subtext, too sarcastic for context, but overall a decent human. #amwriting
Reading the outline for a story idea that I don't remember writing. The outline doesn't encapsulate the feeling I must've felt at the time so I'm not really interested in the story now. Wish I knew what I was thinking at the time....

Copy editing corporate documents. I actually really like the work. Not as much fun as editing fiction, but straight forward. #amwriting#amediting#WritingCommunity
I suggest to anyone wanting to win an argument on grammar or style, go out and buy this heavy, hardback book. In the heat of an argument, explain your reasoning, hold up this book, and beat your opponent into submission. #amwriting#amediting#writerslife#WritingCommnunity
@emmaawrites Nothing about this book was what I'd expected. Though a few memories of sleeping through the movie in high school was all I had to go on. I hope you do reread it and share how the book changes for you the second time through.
Finally finished reading Moby Dick. That was the longest read, but also amazing. A little over punctuated in my opinion, but then, the punctuation added so much inflection to the narration. #amreading#books#amwriting
@emmaawrites There's so much to say about it, but I can't really pick a starting point. You can crack it open anywhere, read that chapter and still come away with something entertaining. I knew this would be tough, but two days later and I'm still trying to decide where my impression lies.
Pleasant way to wake up on a Saturday morning. Sombody favorited a piece of fanfiction I've had posted for about three years. That feels nice. #amwriting#WritingCommunity#writer
¡English needs to adopt the signos de exclamación! I hate reading sentences that travel past half the page only to find out they were exclamatory the entire time. Give a signal a little sooner so I don't have to reread! #amwriting#amediting#NationalPunctuationDay
In a business conversation, one person repeated, "blah, blah, blah, blah," unironically several times. I found it odd. Just ignore unimportant parts. Now that's all I've been hearing people say for two weeks now. #amwriting#WritingCommunity
Sawmill? No, Word. Sawmill behind an adverb doesn't work for me. Looks like it's reeducation for you. Or more time editing for me. #amwriting#amediting#writingcommmunity
