My composition ‘Pathway’ - for string orchestra
My full written score is now available to view via YouTube alongside a recording of the piece (link here https://t.co/yElaC6BbGT).
I composed this piece in 2017, and it was first performed by the strings of the RSNO with conductor Peter Oundjian in the November of that year.
It was commissioned by @RoyalPhilSoc and Classic FM, with generous funding from the Boltini Trust.
The original poem (written in 1940) from which the text for my composition ‘In the Shining Blackness’ is derived and translated.
A translation of the poem alongside a recording of my composition can be found here: https://t.co/NMZAavKIiQ
