Below is the Karmelo Anthony "initial narrative" section from the Frisco Police report. According to the responding officer, once Anthony was seated in the back of the patrol car, he asked about Austin Metcalf, saying, "Is he going to be OK?"

Anthony is currently on trial for murder in Collin County, Texas, for the 2025 stabbing death of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf during a high school track meet. Anthony, who was also 17 at the time, has admitted to the stabbing but claims he acted in self-defense following an argument over being under another school's team tent.

Closing arguments are expected today.
