Listen… I love DDG, he’s 3rd all time behind Peter & Edwin at United for me… but yes I have seen him bend down on one knee and watch a ball fly past him in the top corner, numerous times. I’ve also seen him fly through the air and save them. It means nothing. Lammens is a solid keeper and will grow into his role. DDG had a horrendously tough first two seasons. So let’s not judge to early. We were all lauding Lammens last season for his performances so let’s back him.

Couldn’t disagree with Peter more. He of all should know how difficult that position is and Lammens has been brilliant since day 1, he did NOTHING wrong today.

You should be coming out and backing Lammens, as you should know how important that is
For a keeper. Instead you’ve chosen to try and make a quick buck as a pundit on a false narrative.

Manchester United conceded two goals against Hull, then against Ipswich and now Everton. Goals going in two by two, it’s a state of the ark defence. United strengthened their attack in summer 2025. Cunha, Sesko, Mbeumo. They strengthened their midfield in summer 2026. Tielemans, Andrey Santos, Baleba. Department by department. Leaving strengthening their defence to summer 2027. United trying to be more shrewd with their spending (compared to pre-2025) but fans will feel it’s a false economy if an unconvincing defence means they shed points. Could they have got Konsa (nb he wanted London) or Hall? #MUFC

The FA say they are 'aware' of the incident involving Cardiff defender Krystian Bielik and the young #Pompey fan he grabbed around the neck on Saturday. No excuse for a player to lay their hands on a supporter so a ban seems the inevitable outcome.

Brilliant strike, but Shaw sat back, wasn’t in position and didn’t make any attempt to close him down, letting George have time to take the shot… if you give players time eventually you get punished.

As United found out TWICE today.

The only thing I will say today is I think the commentators today were ridiculous in their analysis of Lammens.

Somehow they created a narrative which they carried through the game that he was nervous, uneasy, looked shaky. All based on a long ball to the back post where he jumped to catch and got a forearm and elbow in the throat. Causing him to fall down.

Ridiculous commentary.

No mention about Pickford poor distribution today or weak wrist when going for Sesko’s header though.

8 years of Dalot & Shaw at FB is simply ridiculous. We aren’t talking about prime Neville & prime Evra. These 2 have been tried and trusted and failed too many times. 9 more months of this mess guys.

It doesn’t bode well for the derby next weekend.

This is the problem though when you don’t freshen up an area of the pitch.

The quality teams see those games out.
There’s 20seconds on the clock when that corner comes in, that ball gets cleared, it then goes all the way back to Pickford who manages to recycle it back in it’s cleared AGAIN and then they score. Awful defending. Someone just needs to take ownership and put that ball into row Z instead of dicking around.
