The growing entity of the business has started taking delivery of its seed and waiting in anticipation for planting to start in the 2024 growing season. 🥔🌱

So far the quality of seed has been excellent and come from a number of top class suppliers throughout the UK. 🙌🏻

Last week we went to check out how some of the cover crops are performing on fields we are growing potatoes in next season. 🌱🥔

This is a winter cover crop containing black oats, phacelia and wild mustard. This mix aims to improve the soil structure for the following crop. 👍🏻

The management team had a fantastic training sessions this morning from @S2G_UK. The team gained an understanding of what modern slavery is and received guidance on how to spot the signs and practical steps we can implement to help detect and deal with modern slavery.

It’s been a busy few days of lifting thanks to the extraordinarily good weather for this time of year🚜 It’s allowed us to make some great progress on this seasons crop 🙌🏻 We hope everyone is able to make the most of it while it lasts ☀️

🥔🚜 We are now busy on site loading the cold stores.❄️The potatoes are brought down in temperature to keep in storage until they are needed later in the season.This is our first store completed with many more to load.👍🏻

Maincrop harvest is in full swing. Here we have another full trailer leaving the field.🥔🚜

These beauties will be transported from our growing site in Yorkshire to our cold stores in Lincolnshire, where they will be cured and stored at 2-3 degrees until ready for use.👍🏻

Lifting has commenced on this season’s Mozart. 🚜🥔 These beauties will be packed and out for delivery this weekend, ensuring the smoothest field to fork process. 🍽️ Potatoes don’t get much fresher than this! 🙌🏻
