The Missouri House of Representatives passed the KCPA on a vote of 137-11 and it now moves to the Senate. It is a victory for the truth prevailing over the FDA disinformation campaign against kratom. Consumer protection with responsible regulation. Thanks to Rep. Christofanelli.

Rep. Stone, sponsor of HB 5477, the KCPA in Michigan, provided outstanding testimony before the House Committee on Regulatory Reform. The AKA was joined by addiction recovery experts in supporting the KCPA to protect consumers from adulterated kratom products.

Robert Califf was just confirmed by the US Senate 50-46 to lead the FDA. The AKA hopes Dr. Califf will recognize health benefits of kratom protecting consumers from dangerously adulterated kratom products. As Dr. Califf takes over, we hope the FDA will turn the page on kratom.
