@DocBrownLloyd my favourite thing about Back to the Future 2 is that you said Cafe 80’s was ‘one of those nostalgic places but done badly’. It literally nailed 80’s in all ways. Non-ironically. But I guess you knew that anyway because you’re a time traveller.
‘Sorry if I sound like a broken record’ then followed by a 2 minute rant. I’ve never liked that expression. If a record is generally set to 45 RPM then the best you’re quite limited with the initial insult. ‘Twat’ perhaps?
@davidvance If you walk down that street to the right of that shop there is a shop that I think ironically got done for selling swords. Also down there on the left, decent chippy, and if you cut through the market a really good food court. Cheap night? Subway just to the left.
@JasonManford I noticed these on on my grandad when I was a kid and thought it was weird. Now I’m getting them too. I think perhaps if we live long enough we will turn into a Sasquatch.
@PounderJane1@stevenvoiceover@OliLondonTV She’s a billionaire. I reckon even worst case scenario and her staff can’t do it a quick google and say ‘five times your money if you can get here in ten minutes and have it done by supper’
@Rjjkgold@wooderooski@clownworld It’s the companies responsibility to pay enough so tips should be optional. Not the customers responsibility to have to make up the shortfall. People getting annoyed at tips is so incredibly annoying when it is their employer that has created the issue, not the consumer.
I was getting worried that there hadn't been a 'schoolboy wears skirt to loophole uniform policy on shorts' article in the news for a few days but there is one today. Get a new idea guys. Full kilt. Get it done.
@richardintheuk@BBCNews It got old the second time. I appreciate why they do it but this idea is so old hat. It’s like every parent who most likely suggest this think it’s their hilarious original idea. We’ll show them!!!’
@stimcitytigers@eops Agreed. Him and Ian brown are just terrible. primal Scream are so hit and miss as well. They’ve got a couple of ace songs and then a sea of absolute and utter dross.
@SwooshieQ To be honest. A ten. Square crisps are the king of unnecessary snacks. It’s like mainlining vinegar and msg to the tastebuds. The sandwich is excellent, and a cracking bit of class with the drink.
@sashawilkins_@edcumming Have you tried Branston beans? Thicker sauce, more beans. I like Heinz but Branston definitely have the edge and they are cheaper.
@OfficialColSand@MarkHamill It was a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. If that is under about 800 years or so, Grogu is probably still knocking about. If Luke taught him he could teach you.
@SylviaBSo Are we going to get another slim Henry? Arguably the worlds most famous historical fat bloke but eternally personified on screen with a six pack? Bizarre. I’ll still enjoy it though. Twill be no doubt very watchable.
@MoonzPS5 @McDonaldsUK Similar to the Big Tasty sauce? That stuff is awful. It’s like the best burger they’ve ever done with the worst sauce. It’s so over salty. Dreadful stuff. McD’s do sweet sauces well, not so much salty. BK are better for that. It’s a clear BK lift this burger but it does look nice
@ENortonHistory Academic dispute or just a troll? Sometimes academic disputes are funny. I saw an argument once. A fall out about the popularity of ruffs during Elizabethan England and it spilled out into bloomers as well. Fortunately it was late Tudor or there would have been cod piece banter.
