@davidvance If you walk down that street to the right of that shop there is a shop that I think ironically got done for selling swords. Also down there on the left, decent chippy, and if you cut through the market a really good food court. Cheap night? Subway just to the left.

People getting annoyed at tips is so incredibly annoying when it is their employer that has created the issue, not the consumer.

@MoonzPS5 @McDonaldsUK Similar to the Big Tasty sauce? That stuff is awful. It’s like the best burger they’ve ever done with the worst sauce. It’s so over salty. Dreadful stuff. McD’s do sweet sauces well, not so much salty. BK are better for that. It’s a clear BK lift this burger but it does look nice

@ENortonHistory Academic dispute or just a troll? Sometimes academic disputes are funny. I saw an argument once. A fall out about the popularity of ruffs during Elizabethan England and it spilled out into bloomers as well. Fortunately it was late Tudor or there would have been cod piece banter.
