The ECGs have been decoded into a sequencer, making it possible to “play” each child’s heartbeat.

Thom found his way into the machine quickly and we had a nice jam. An amazing project to play a small part in.

We were honoured to be asked to take part in a Heartbeat Session using the CHD-4 from @jugendingenieur - a drum machine with congenital heart disease. The device produces rhythms created from the electrocardiograms of four children with different heart defects.
