For modern I lost to ecobaronen r1, I think I beat enotpaniker r2 and JMM r3 but not 100% sure on the last 2

Went 9-2-2 in RQ Vancouver, played my first game of Riftbound and started learning the rules on Wednesday, had to read a lot of cards and learned a lot of lessons the hard way but game is very fun and I’m excited to battle again in LA

@kongfuchris I was happy with the deck but if I was going to hartford I’d want to explore some other options first, specifically mono black demons seemed much stronger than I expected when playing against it

Welp I won @LaughingMtg MXP Santa Clara, that makes 2 in a row and 3 total

Started out 2-2 with a bye and managed to win 11 in a row

Also made top 8 of the MXP invitational playing a very similar list

Record over the weekend was 17-4 despite losing the die roll in all but 4??

@kevinrand @LaughingMtg In hindsight I think 1 is probably correct, you keep a ton of 1 landers with the deck and if your 1 land is islet or thundering falls it feels pretty bad, I would probably play a 2nd canal over the 2nd islet moving forward

Went to magic spotlight Denver this weekend

Went 5-3 in limited (got my 3rd loss in round 7)
I was happy with my deck but I could’ve made some improvements in hindsight

Split top 4 of the modern 10k with belcher, then lost to @joedpuglisi in the mirror

Played an oddball in standard and still feel relatively happy with my choice even considering how things ended up (2-3)

Overall it was a great experience and I can’t wait to make it back

The judges ruling was that he had an extra card in hand and knew about it without saying anything, the judge was clear that he did not think dimitrov was a cheater

Personally I just don’t know how he could have an extra card in hand by accident
