When did I say ‘disproportinate to the rules’. The rules are the rules but they’ve caused a really harsh penalty. There should be flexibility in the rules to allow the stewards to match the severity of punishment to the situation is what I’m saying. Try reading before rushing into an argument.

@JP_123454321 @EngineModeLE86 @Aldas001 No. You’ve completely got the wrong end of the stick. The driver should always respect the double waved yellows. A penalty is always needed if they don’t respect it. But in terms of the severity of the penalty, there should be a level of subjectivity by the stewards.

@EngineModeLE86 @Aldas001 I’m fully aware of the rules thanks. I can still believe the punishment is disproprtionate to the situation though. Sometimes there does need to be an element of common sense when dishing out penalties and their severity which isn’t present within the rules.
