@NaijaPrinc3 I agree, with his shooting and defense. But I think heโs best suited at the one. The problem with the Heat is everyone is playing out of position and itโs hurting us in the long run.
Heat fans, like the front office, need a reality check.
The Celtics are this good because their whole process is based on analytics and player development. Hugo Gonzalez, Jordan Walsh and others work within a system where their strengths are utilized and they don't have to be overtasked to do something else. This is exactly the opposite of what Miami does.
We literally have Spo saying out there that "they aren't running math classes out there" and a front office that refuses to let some players go instead of looking for pieces who fit their style of play.
Miami were playing Dru Smith and Davion over Kasparas, playing within a system where the bigs on the team were struggling and forcing bad defenders (Norm and Tyler) to coexist. The data was telling them that their roster wasn't good, that they should play Kasparas and help Bam and Ware with a decent system. Guess what they did? The extreme opposite.
The Celtics are where they are because they have adapted to modern basketball. The Heat are where they are because they refuse to accept reality.
