I gave a presentation on our farm biz today and one of the questions that I addressed was "can Regen Ag feed the world"?

My retort was "1/3rd of food is wasted and 40% of the west is obese".

It's a reframing I think is necessary.
"Morbidly obese" doesn't cut it anymore. Maybe "resource hoarders" or "calorie thieves" is more appropriate?

When I process lambs Sept. 2023, I only used internal fat, and it didn't turn out as I hoped.

@silvopasturist Premier 1 has separate fiber posts. They are thicker and more robust than the fiber posts that are part of the fence. They are the double spike so I can use my foot.

I use these thicker posts for temporary corner posts during the season to help keep the poultry fence tight.

@silvopasturist I use a separate fiber post to keep the connection from touching the T-post.

In addition, for the birds, I try to keep the gap close near the bottom, but far enough to allow the fence to be pulled tight.

@silvopasturist Basically: a T-post at corners to tie too, and one between each section of fence.

When it snows, walk around and pull up the mid sections between the fiber posts so the snow doesn't weight down the fence.

Side note: still a chance for warm days, so snow recently melted.
