Thanks to our community partners, #ruralmarylandcouncil, and #pohankaofsalisburyautomotive we were able to purchase two new Kia vans for our supported individuals! Having reliable transportation is vital in getting the children and adults we support out into the community!
Our Residential students closed out February with a Valentine's Game Night! Popcorn, and snacks were made, crafts were designed, and games were played! Another example of one of our core values, Excellence was on full display as staff came together to create a special evening!
Our adults had an amazing weekend celebrating Valentine's Day with a dance! It was a wonderful time full of dancing, and happiness! Seeing all of their smiling faces put the icing on the cake of a wonderful month full of celebrating love, laughter, and friendship!

Our adults celebrated Valentine's Day with a tea party complete with finger sandwiches, fruit, and dessert! They had wide variety of teas to select from as well as multiple styles of tea time sandwiches! It was a wonderful event, on such a cold, wintery day!
In true Valentine's Day spirit, our Human Resources department kicked off a Best Dressed Valentine's Contest! Staff were encouraged to wear their Valentine's best for a chance to win a free lunch from our local Pizza Empire, courtesy of our HR department!

Our FA3 class adopted a calf, Bea, at Long Green Farms, Maryland, via Discover Dairy. To celebrate National Hot Chocolate Day, we learned about the milk journey from farm to store and enjoyed hot chocolate made with real milk to promote healthy consumption.
