This is just the first episode in a season of a podcast. It's not a trapdoor dropping you into a maze with only one horrific path out. These are just stories.

And then this Little Mr. Tritium story appeared and is the most Japanese story possible. When in doubt as to the safety, morality and support of your decision, a creepy animated character always helps. https://t.co/ZvJpmX6MP6
This is the most Australian thing ever... poisonous snakes popping out of groceries, a very relaxed attitude to poisonous snakes, and some confusion as to which kind of poisonous snake it was: Aussie, Aussie Aussie! https://t.co/nlQEQSK2Fx 1/2
@myhlee It looks like only one of the arms is in trouble. Maybe stop watering, let things play out. Bad arm will probably die. The others should be fine. I can’t over emphasize that I learned all I know through plant killing. I’d go to Reddit and ask. Or tag someone like @RBGCanada
@AndrewBernstei9@BensonCowan I remember the jokes about the white line between home and first disappearing. I saw Dr. K at the Big O a few times, always an amazing experience.
@LouisCentury I worked with Jim a little when I was a student and a young lawyer. He was a kind and wonderful man and an excellent lawyer. What a loss for his family, his friends and colleagues.
@brendanvn@AndrewBernstei9 Interesting. I do question whether Israel’s foundation is all that different, at root, from the foundation of other post-colonial states. I know the story obvs. But can we really say it’s normative foundations were more an act of justice than Kosovo or East Timor or Eritrea 4 ex?
During my first years at the NYT, there was Johnny Apple, & slightly later, David Carr. Both said & did wtf they wanted. They were emo & florid & funny & annoying. Apple once lied that he KILLED Viet Cong during the war. Journalism used to be way MORE emotional than it is now.
@jonkay Indigenous folks can’t have different thoughts from one another? That’s your point? You think all ethnic groups have to have the same ideas about things? You used to be a journo, no? Ugh, I hate that I feel sorry for you. You must be going through some shit to post this.
